Musica Viva CountryWide helps bring the best classical, jazz, world music, early music, vocal, and percussion ensembles to regional Australia.

Regional Performances

Musica Viva CountryWide helps bring the best classical, jazz, world music, early music, vocal, and percussion ensembles to regional Australia. Thanks to support from the Australia Council, Communities NSW and Arts Victoria, Musica Viva can help regional centres in New South Wales and Victoria access a wide range of Australia’s best music.

For an affordable fee, Musica Viva will contract the artists, arrange and pay travel and accommodation. We will provide marketing support including artist biographies, images, posters, handbills and will add your concert to the Musica Viva Regional Concerts calendar on our website.

You will be responsible for arranging the venue, paying venue and production costs, managing the box office, and for local marketing and publicity.
Performances are also possible for presenters in states outside NSW or Victoria but travel and accommodation expenses will need to be built into the presenter fee.  We have a range of music available through the program and can help you choose the best ensemble for your audience and budget.

Regional Residencies

Musica Viva also facilitates a limited number of residencies each year. These residencies are tailored around the specific musical interests of your community, and usually culminate in a public concert involving community musicians and ensemble in residence. Please contact us if you believe a residency would help build the musical skills of your community, or would build interest in ensemble music in your area.

International Performances

Musica Viva Export has been touring Australian music internationally for more than 35 years. Our international touring partner is the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Under the auspices of the Fine Music Touring Program Musica Viva has toured some of Australia’s finest musicians throughout Asia and beyond. Our tours have consisted of concerts, school performances, masterclasses and media calls, and have covered a huge range of music - classical, jazz, percussion, world, Australian indigenous and folk music. Such diversity ensures that the best of Australian music can be experienced by a variety of audiences through Musica Viva Export.

Many of the artists on this website have toured internationally.
