Primary School Music Education Package

Step 1. Professional
Learning Course

The Professional Learning Course is a chance to explore practical and inspiring teaching ideas for all teachers. The course will be led by an experienced music educator; a hands-on, interactive session allowing you to experience the ensemble performing in your school; and give you an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with teaching colleagues.

Step 2.
Teaching Resources

Teaching Resources provide you with teaching activities and resources to apply the tools and skills learnt at the Professional Learning Course, within your classroom. The kit is written by experienced music educators, including details of how and where the program links to the curriculum in your state; and a CD-ROM containing the music used as part of the teaching activities.  A range of practical tools are provided to assist in your assessment and reporting.

Step 3.
Live Music!

Highly-trained, professional musicians will inspire your students through interaction and performance of music from the Teaching Resource kits.  Musicians are selected not only for their skills in musicianship but also their ability to communicate effectively with children and young people in larger groups.  The musicians fully understand the curriculum requirements and are monitored and assessed on an ongoing basis to ensure their performances contribute to the students’ learning.

‘The value for money in the program is great…it’s all empowering and enriching. The concerts are so well presented and the resource kits are fabulous.’
