The live music experience provided by Musica Viva is either via the Professional Learning courses aimed at building a teacher’s confidence and skills in providing a live music experience for their students or professional musicians performing live at your school.
Students’ experience of highly skilled musicians performing for them in a concert can be a memorable one. The musicians are adept at and enjoy involving the students in every performance.
The success of the Live Music component is the musicians’ ability and skill to relate to the students and pitch their performance at the learning levels appropriate for the class or school.
Some of Australia’s finest musicians are available as part of the program with a variety of genres including classical, jazz, contemporary folk and world music featuring diverse instrumentation.
Each year musicians are rotated among regions in your state. This ensures each school continues to experience unique music education and new musicians.
