Artist Development Program

An exciting and prestigious new initiative from the world’s largest presenter of chamber music.

Musica Viva Australia is known around the world for the breadth and diversity of its activities featuring musicians of the highest quality. For 70 years, the organisation has worked to create networks and opportunities linking Australia’s best musical talent with national and international audiences of all ages as well as like-minded organisations. There is no organisation better placed to work with Australia’s leading emerging talent.

In creating this program, Musica Viva will cultivate the next generation of flexible and curious Australian artistic leaders. The Artist Development Program will result in the young musicians being entrepreneurial performers with rich chamber music experience and aptitude, who are able to present diverse performances and be part of education and community engagement and collaborations at the highest level.

Musica Viva’s Artistic Director Carl Vine will play a guiding role across the program working with the program’s own Artistic Director.
