Tim Fairfax Family Foundation

The Tim Fairfax Family Foundation supports Musica Viva's Equal Music Program in remote and regional Queensland. Multi-year support from the TFFF allows us to effectively plan the Musica Viva In Schools program and build solid relationships with schools, teachers and students. It is also helping to build overall music education capacity across the state.

The Tim Fairfax Family Foundation also supported a regional tour of South West Queensland in 2011 that reached approximately 10 remote communities. Musica Viva is extremely grateful to the Foundation for allowing us to extend our reach into many ‘arts poor’ areas of Queensland that have not previously been able to access the Musica Viva In Schools program.
 
For many of the children in these regions, this will be their first experience of professional live music and it will open up a world of opportunity.
