Trusts and Foundations

Foundations, Prescribed Private Funds (PPF), (link to ATO certificates re DGR and Charitable Institution) trusts and family foundations provide critical funding for a number of our activities including:

  • Music education taken to schools disadvantaged by location, size and/or financial circumstance
  • Music workshops for marginalised and socially isolated seniors in our community, including dementia sufferers and their carers
  • Regional Australian programs, taking inspirational music across the country
  • Artistic initiatives developing innovative programs that leverage Musica Viva’s unique access to leading international performers and emerging Australian musicians, including the Musica Viva Festival and International series Masterclasses
  • Artistic initiatives in music education, developing new groups, repertoire and modes of delivery
