2011 Utzon Music Series

Now in its fifth year, the Utzon Music Series expands to offer the most extensive array of chamber music in Sydney in 2011.

Over the years, we have welcomed some of the world's great artists, some outstanding young performers, and a mix of music from traditional Chinese street theatre to jazz, from tangos to baroque opera, from solo cello to wind quintets. In 2011, we offer another extraordinary mix of music, welcoming artists such as Anne Sofie von Otter and Pekka Kuusisto, Karin Schaupp, the dynamic Silver Garburg piano duo, and the remarkable Genevieve Lacey.

In addition, we have partnered with Music Viva to showcase some of Australia's most creative and accomplished young performers, offering a series of concerts celebrating their energy and imagination.
