Tamara-Anna Cislowska piano with introductions by Dan Golding

Tamara-Anna Cislowska is one of Australia’s most acclaimed and recognised pianists, both for her solo and  chamber performances, and as the winner of the 2015 ARIA Award for Best Classical Album for her recording Peter Sculthorpe: Complete Works for Solo Piano. The youngest pianist to win the ABC Young Performer of the Year competition – at age 14 – she gave her first public performance at the age of two; she is now a regular guest of orchestras and festivals in Europe, America and Australasia, including as soloist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and all the major Australian symphony orchestras. Her chart-topping albums include two recordings of music by Elena Kats-Chernin – Unsent Love Letters: Meditations on Erik Satie and Butterflying – and Into Silence, featuring works by Arvo Pärt, Pēteris Vasks, Henryk Górecki and Georgs Pelēcis. Collaborating with artists such as the ACO, CIRCA, Elena Kats-Chernin, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and Dawn Upshaw, Tamara is also a regular presenter on ABC Classic with Duet.

Dan Golding is the host of Screen Sounds on ABC Classic, an award-winning composer and writer, and a Senior Lecturer in Media and Communication at Swinburne University. He created the soundtrack for the BAFTA, DICE, and GDCA winning Untitled Goose Game (2019), which also became the first ever game soundtrack to be nominated for an ARIA award. He co-hosts the popular film music podcast Art of the Score, and in 2018, Dan presented What Is Music for ABC iView and Triple J with Linda Marigliano. Dan is also the author of Star Wars After Lucas (University of Minnesota Press, 2019), and with Leena van Deventer the co-author of Game Changers (Affirm Press, 2016).
