Melbourne Benefits
Schubert Octet
Presented by the Australian National Academy of Music
Wednesday 25 March 3pm
Abbotsford Convent, Rosina Auditorium
Written when Schubert was just a couple of years older than our ANAM musicians today and lit by the same youthful joy, the Octet is an uber-virtuosic delight. To our Musica Viva friends, ANAM is offering 2 double passes to hear the complete work first in a standalone concert on Wednesday 25 March, and second, as a stunning finale to an eclectic performance of works by Arvo Pärt and Kate Moore on Friday 27 March.
