We are delighted to announce the Finalists of Strike A Chord 2022, the third iteration of Musica Viva's National Chamber Music Championship for secondary school ensembles.

After two weeks of deliberation, the jury has come to a decision on the twelve groups from across Australia that will be taking part in the Grand Final. You can learn more about the First Round & Novice Section prize winners here.

The Peter Druce Audience Prize - Voting T&Cs

We are excited to be able to offer online and live Grand Final audiences an opportunity to vote online and support their favourite Strike A Chord finalist group. These ensembles will have the chance to win The Peter Druce Audience Prize valued at $2,000. 
 
Audience Prize Voting Terms & Conditions

Online voting in the 2022 Audience Prize constitutes agreement with these Terms and Conditions:

1. Musica Viva Australia will be monitoring audience voting for unusual activity, and reserves the right to disqualify a group if there are indications that fraudulent voting has taken place that is not in keeping with the original spirit and intention of the prize.

2. Eligibility: Voting is open to all residents of Australia. Voters under 18 years of age must have the prior consent of their parent or guardian before casting a vote online.

2. In person attendees and at home viewers should only cast ONE VOTE PER VIEWER. 

3. Voting Period: The Peter Druce Audience Prize voting link will be announced during the live Broadcast. Eligible votes must be cast on Saturday 27 August 2022 between 5:25pm and 5:55pm AEST. Any votes cast prior to the Jury Deliberation will not be counted towards the Group's final vote.

4. Your full name, city and email address are required to verify your vote for the 2022 Audience Prize. We will not keep this information for more than 7 days after the 2022 Strike A Chord Grand Final and you will not receive any communications from Strike A Chord unless you have previously signed up to hear from us.
