Join the Musica Viva Australia’s WA Committee for their Strike A Chord Fundraiser on Sunday 24 August at Christ Church Claremont. All funds raised at this event will support the travel of the Hale Bravura String Quartet to compete in the Strike A Chord National Final in Melbourne.

The Hale Bravura String Quartet is a dynamic ensemble comprising violinists Joshua Woods and Seth Cheah, violist Zachary Madan, and cellist Jordan Scott. Formed in 2023, the quartet consists of music scholarship holders at Hale School in Perth. Under the mentorship of Jack Charles and Zoë van Drunen, they have developed strong ensemble skills and musical cohesion. Collectively, they have won the Fremantle and North of Perth Eisteddfods and have participated in numerous competitions both locally and internationally. The quartet is united by a shared passion for music and a commitment to artistic growth. Above all, they gain much joy in playing together. |
