Covid Venue Safety
Welcome back to live music with Musica Viva!
We’re delighted to once again bring the joy of chamber music to concert halls across Australia.
The wellbeing of our patrons, staff, and musicians is our highest priority so, in accordance with the Covid-safe advice issued by each state’s health authorities, we will be implementing additional safety measures in our concert halls. We ask that you please help us maintain these to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
For our concert-goers in Adelaide and Brisbane, please note that masks are mandatory at all times within the venues. For patrons in Sydney and Newcastle, you are required to be masked at all times as well as fully vaccinated.
Unfortunately, due to the developing situations in Canberra and Melbourne, we are currently unable to provide confirmed information to you at this time. Please check your local state government channels for updates.

Social distancing measures have been implemented including signs and markers to indicate safe distances to maintain. Please follow all signs you see at the venue and maintain a safe distance from other guests not within your party at all times, including when entering and exiting the venue.
Musica Viva Australia are working within health guidelines and the venue’s Covid Safe Plan as the safety of audiences, artists and staff is central to us. Please ensure you remain in your allocated seat throughout the performance.
Digital ticketing is now available to further limit contact between patrons and venue staff. We ask that you please have your digital ticket displayed on the screen of your device when waiting to enter the venue.
To reduce contact, our venues have contactless payment options available for patrons.
For the safety of our other patrons, staff, and musicians, we ask that you please remain home if you:
- Are feeling unwell
- Have shown symptoms within the last 14 days
- Have recently been tested for COVID-19
- Have been asked to self-isolated
- Have recently been in contact with a confirmed case
- Have recently travelled interstate
