Statement of Works
Musica Viva Australia In Schools (MVAIS) is a national program that provides live music incursions and digital learning resources to primary schools. More information on our program can be found here.
We work with a pool of outstanding music specialist teachers who advise on the education content of our shows, as well as write the digital learning resources for each show in development. Our resource writers join the creative development process, and prepare outstanding classroom lesson plans that align with our vision as we develop new shows in collaboration with some of Australia's best musicians.
Each year, we develop new shows and digital learning resources as part of our program. We invite Expressions of Interest from specialist music teachers to write digital learning resources as part of the creative development process for new shows.
We are expanding our pool of specialists, and want to work with educators who are skilled at and committed to creating high-quality classroom content that aligns with new MVAIS shows.
Musica Viva Australia is family-friendly and flexible, and committed to equity and inclusion. We welcome expressions of interest from First Nations people and people from diverse cultural and regional communities.
We welcome expressions of interest from people who identify as having a disability. If at any stage of the process you require any accommodation due to a disability, please let us know.
To submit your expression of interest: Please complete this EOI form
Application closing date: EOIs are open now and will close when a suitable pool of candidates has been found.
