On The Wireless

We’re on air!

Tune in to the golden age of radio

Broadcasting live into your school hall, On The Wireless is a playful tribute to the golden age of radio – packed with music, humour and interactive fun.

This vibrant show brings the crackle of vintage radio to life while mixing it with the sounds and energy of today. Students become the live studio audience for a fast-paced musical broadcast, complete with saxophone solos, a trip to Brazil, and a catchy jingle or two. Blending retro flair with contemporary sounds, the accompanying digital learning resources give students the chance to create their own podcast episode or live show in the classroom.

Engaging, energetic and full of charm, On The Wireless will have every listener tuning in and turning up the volume.
