Championship Section

The Strike A Chord Championship Section is open to groups in which all performers are of a playing standard approximately AMEB Grade 5 and above (or equivalent).

The Championship Section - First Round is by video submission, in an effort to increase accessibility for students in regional and remote areas of Australia. 12 groups, from at least 6 states/territories, will then be selected to play live at the National Final in Melbourne. There are numerous cash and development prizes available to groups at all levels throughout the Championship Section of the competition.
