Music changes how children think, feel, and connect. Since 1981, the Musica Viva Australia Education Program has brought that belief into classrooms nationwide; nurturing creativity, building cultural understanding, and helping students discover a lifelong relationship with music.
The 2027 Education Program offers a full year of opportunities designed to engage, educate, and inspire. Australia's finest musicians travel directly into schools to deliver culturally diverse, interactive performances, reaching more than 130,000 students through live, in-school concerts.
Every booking includes at least a term's worth of curriculum-aligned teaching resources, developed for both general classroom teachers and specialist music educators so the impact of each performance extends well beyond the show itself.

Musica Viva Australia In Schools is an all-inclusive package that provides a year-round engaging music program for teachers and students. Choose from 15 culturally and musically diverse shows with some of Australia’s best musicians, touring nationally.
Education Resource Platform
Every booking through the Musica Viva Australia In Schools program includes access to our Education Resource Platform – available to your whole school. Once your school has booked a show, you’ll have ongoing access to the resources, so you can return to them year after year to enrich your students’ learning.
Pricing & Financial Assistance
Musica Viva Australia is able to offer financial assistance to schools in need through our Equal Music program. Support is available for low ICSEA and small schools, and for students facing financial or geographical barriers that would otherwise prohibit them from participating.
