Choose Subscription gives you the benefits of a subscriber, while allowing you the freedom to see the concerts you are most interested in. Choose Subscriptions are available for 3, 4, 5 or 6 concerts, depending on your city.

You will save on single ticket prices, as well as a 10% discount on additional tickets, free ticket exchanges and a deferred payment option and a range of other benefits from our partners.

Subscriptions are open available for both existing and new subscribers and will remain open as long as they can be purchased in each city.


Subscribe securely online - whether you're a current Gold Subscriber, a current Choose Subscriber or a new subscriber.

If you have not purchased tickets online through us before, you will need to register your details. An online account with Musica Viva allows you to access your subscription information, update your preferences and purchase additional tickets at any time.

Instalment payments are not available when you subscribe online.

We know that sometimes you’ll want to bring a friend along! To help you share these concerts, any subscriber can access a 10% discount for any additional tickets you purchase to any concerts in the 2021 season.

Of course! Single tickets for the 2021 Season are now on sale. Tickets are available from Musica Viva or through external ticketing agencies.

Musica Viva does not charge booking or transaction fees on tickets purchased through our Box Office, either online or by phone. Tickets purchased through external ticketing agencies may incur additional charges.

Ticket exchanges are only available for subscribers. Seating within the events you wish to exchange into is subject to availability. 

To exchange tickets, contact the Box Office at least 48 hours before the concert. If you have already received physical tickets for the concert, simply return the tickets via post or send us an email with a photo of the tickets ripped in half. If you do not wish to exchange your ticket(s) for another performance, please return as above and we will issue you with a tax-deductible receipt for your donation in support of our education program. 

An upgrade fee may apply where lower face-value tickets are exchanged for higher-face-value tickets. If exchanging higher-face-value tickets for lower-face-value tickets the difference will not be refunded.

There will be no refunds, except as provided in the Live Performance Australia Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia 

There will be alternative options offered for cancellations and exchanges if a concert is cancelled on behalf of Musica Viva or a patron due to a COVID-19.

However, we offer unlimited free exchanges for all subscribers.

Full-time students, means-tested Australian pensioners (Aged, Disability, Veterans’ Affairs and Supporting Parent) and Health Care Card holders are eligible to receive Musica Viva’s Concession prices. Seniors Card holders are not eligible. 

To claim a concession, please enclose photocopied proof of eligibility with your booking form.

Save up to 40% on subscriptions if you are aged under 40. Proof of age must be supplied when booking and may be required prior to admission to each concert.

We also offer $40 tickets to all concerts throughout the year. Just choose the Under 40 pricing when you select your ticket quantity.

Gift Subscriptions can be redeemed for any Musica Viva concert in Australia. To buy or redeem a Gift Subscription, please call Box Office on 1800 688 482.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as cheques made out to Musica Viva Australia. You can also redeem a Musica Viva gift voucher.

Subscribers can also take advantage of our deferred payment method, allowing you to spread the cost of your subscription over two instalments.

Deferred payments are not available online, please call Patron Services on 1800 688 482.

Subscribers can choose to pay in two easy instalments – pay the first part of your subscription cost now and the second instalment will be deducted from your credit card on Wednesday 21 April, 2021.

Deferred payment is not available when booking online.

If you requested credit to a cancelled concert during 2020, you can now put the cost of those tickets towards your 2021 subscription, or tickets to an upcoming concert. When booking online your credit will appear on the credit tab of the final payment page. You can also select the credit payment option when filling out the form. If you are unsure if you have credit please contact Box Office to confirm.

Tickets will be sent via email unless we are able to send you physical tickets, in which case we will do so. You can also choose to collect your ticket from the VIP desk at the venue on the day of the concert. If you’d prefer to pick up your tickets in person, please advise Box Office when purchasing your subscription.

If the latest circumstances mean you aren’t comfortable attending a concert you’ve booked, or you feel unwell, refunds or exchanges will be made available. Please contact Box Office on 1800 688 482 to discuss your ticketing options.
